Upgrading CSV Improved follows the process of Joomla and involves the following steps:

  1. Go to Extensions -> Install/Uninstall
  2. Click Components
  3. Select CSV Improved
  4. Click Uninstall
  5. Click Install
  6. Select where your CSV Improved file is
  7. Click Upload File & Install
Any templates created will be preserved. This applies only to upgrading from any CSV Improved 1.5 or higher version.
