CSV Improved offers 2 ways to import a file.

1. Import the file from your local computer
2. Import the file from the server

To import a CSV file from your local computer select the box called “Import a CSV File”. This will show a popup window where you can select the file on your local computer to import.

It is also possible to import a file that is already on the server. To import a file that is already on the server select the box “Load from directory”. Here you need to fill in the full path to your CSV file. For example, with my FTP program I put the file myproducts.csv in the folder /home/mydomain/csvfiles, the full path will be ”/home/mydomain/csvfiles/myproducts.csv”.

This option can be useful for larger files that might otherwise take too long to upload.
