Read this first and make sure you checked all steps: www.csvimproved.com/csvi-virtuemart-documentation/f.a.q/ troubleshooting-import-errors.html

When opening a new topic, give as much information as you can. Information such as:

* VirtueMart version
* CSVI VirtueMart version
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information

Very valuable is also the steps you take that lead up to the issue you are facing. Last but definitely not least, add your debug information. This gives me a good insight as to what is happening.

Where to get the debug information?

A tutorial (www.csvimproved.com/csvi-virtuemart-documentation/f.a.q/how-to- collect-debug-information.html) has been written to help you collect your debug information. Use this to help me help you

Thumbnail resize 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi There,

This isn't really problem with CSVI and probably more of a problem with me. I have with help and patience from roland managed to upload a csv file to my store and display both full image and thumbnail image but I need the thumbnail to be resized.

the images displayed are hosted on my suppliers server, I have used the same url for both the main image and the thumbnail image (the supplier doesn't have a seperate thumbnail image). Can CSVI handle the resizing of these images?

if you take a look at www.tslcomputersupplies.biz you will see what I mean.

Thanks for you time

Best regards
Tony

Hello Tony,

the images displayed are hosted on my suppliers server, I have used the same url for both the main image and the thumbnail image (the supplier doesn't have a seperate thumbnail image). Can CSVI handle the resizing of these images?Since you are using the same URL then it won't resize. Now CSVI can handle URL links in the latest release and store the thumbnail on your server. The other thing you can do is, modify your VirtueMart installation and put in a fixed width for the thumbnails. This would allow you to keep the images on your suppliers server.

Hello Tony,

Does the latest version download the images from the host server? or have I misunderstood?The option is available yes. You can also save them on your own server and resize them.

Good luck finding a decent template. Not easy for sure.
