Hi
looking at using this product on a new store I'm developing but have a question that needs answering.
In my store certain products need to be restricted to specific shopper groups and hidden from the 'default' group. Is it possible to import the products and specify which shopper group they belong to?

Is it possible to import the products and specify which shopper group they belong to?It is possible to that but In my store certain products need to be restricted to specific shopper groups and hidden from the 'default' group. is not possible as far as I know. VirtueMart only handles shopper groups for pricing not for anything else.
So it is not a limitation of CSVI VirtueMart but VirtueMart itself unless you have some hacks in place for this functionality.

trying to create users and assign to shopper groups via csv import.
have created a csv which imports ok but no users are created in virtuemart, what am i doing wrong?

Hello,
The debug log shows only users that already exist in VirtueMart. The only thing I see that might be an issue is that the BT address_type_name is set to "ship home" this is actually -default-. I don't think VM supports a different name for the BT address type only for shipping addresses. See if this resolves the users not showing up. They are in the system as CSVI VirtueMart does find a user info ID.

Have changed address_type_name to default in the import and still no users show up!
Have tried leaving it blank and no users show up...
Have tried removing this field but import errors!
Have attached csv and debug log

Have changed address_type_name to default in the import and still no users show up!Did you change it to default or -default-? It must have the minus signs on each side.
Blank is no good as it must have a name.
Try the -default- and if it is no go, send me a PM with login details and a sample file I can import and I will have a look.
