Looking for a useful answer?

Read this first and make sure you checked all steps: www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/635-troubleshooting-import-errors

Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* VirtueMart version
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information

Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.

Where to get the debug information?

A tutorial (www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/390-how-to-collect-debug-information) has been written to help you collect your debug information. For CSVI 3, there is a video available (www.csvimproved.com/downloads/file/18-collect-debug-information)

Hello,

The debug log shows it is trying to find the same product for the first 5 images. Can you update your CSVI to version 3.8.3, do the import again and if it is not correct please post the new debug log.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Hello,
I also have problems with pic import...
Now I have the latest version for everything. When I upload the csv file, it looks like it is uploaded, but the pictures are not there, no media file is showing at the products.
Funny, I have firstly tried to do the same with a test file (only a few products), and it worked. Now I don't remember any difference... :blush: Maybe something wrong at the import options?
Please, help me...! :cheer:

Hello,
it looks like it is uploaded, but the pictures are not there, no media file is showing at the products.
You are not telling CSVI which product needs to be linked to the image. Add the product_sku field to the import file and give it a go.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Now I have got duplicated media files (the real one and one only with the name of the product), but picture still not showing in the frontend.
Uhhh, not easy... :ohmy:

but picture still not showing in the frontend.
That is most likely because the product has 2 images associated with it. Go to edit this product and see that the first image linked is not a real image. Remove that image and the other image should show up on the frontend.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Thanks again, I have checked, but no media file is assigned to the products.
Even if I check it in the product list, it shows at the media files (0), and as I'm trying to edit the product, nothing's at the pictures. :pinch:
Hope sby can help me... :)

That extension is what you need to fill your VM store with products! it's not hard to understand how it works (just read the manual) and if you need anything they have a forum that aswers to EVERYTHING! I just love this extension and is a part of my store-maintenance tools! It's a pity not to mention that this roland guy is awsome when it comes to support!
