Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* VirtueMart version
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information
Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.
I resolved by updating csvi as you told me.
I followed your advice and now everything works.
thank you very much rolandd wrote:
You cannot use 3.8.1 with VirtueMart 2. See the version schedule on the frontpage at the right side. However the debug log seems to say you are using CSVI 4.0 beta 2. This version is not supported anymore. Update first to CSVI 4.0 beta 4.
Your image path is not set either. Do this on the Path tab. The file_url should look like example.jpg and the file_url_thumb resized/example.jpg

Re: Import Image to virtuemart 2.0

The CSV file example:
~TG3000/A~^~Y~^~TG3000/A- Camara Olympus TG3000 12 Mpx Zoom 3.6x A Prueba de Agua Azul~^~~^~http://myurl.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/TG3000-A-02.jpg~^~1~^~jpg~
The Path is right, the Image tab have
Process Image: Yes
Save images on server: Yes
Automatic thumbnail creation: Yes
But nothing happen when I apply the import, the product still without image.
I have used the full/pro versions of CSVI for a few years now & I would recommend it to anybody with a virtuemart site or site where you may need to import anything else. Not only does it work brilliantly for Virtuemart Stores, but there are also other standard templates for AWO EZ Reality, K2 AUP, Joomla Articles, Users and lots more. If its not already set up, you can also use the custom field settings & the developer Roland is always on hand providing excellent support and solutions to your CSV related problems.
Roland has helped me out on many occasions with basic CSV stuff and more complicated bespoke CSVi templates.
It's awesome - Really & will save you hours manually inputting products, articles, coupons, etc.
Try the free version & if you like it buy the Pro version as it's easily worth the price you pay.
