Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* VirtueMart version
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information

Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.

Hey Roland my friend!

i had to migrate a joomla 1.0 Site to a newer version. In this cms i work with Sobi2 and a big database.

So i install the com_csvi_sobi_1.6.3a.zip on the joomla 1.0 site but get always the ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Did i need a older version of CSVI Sobi or what can i do?

Hello Mario,

CSVI SOBI only runs on Joomla 1.5. If you are running SOBI also on the newer site I would think the simplest and fastest way would be to copy over just the SOBI tables from the old to the new database and then install SOBI on top of it.
