I've customised the Example Order Export to suit my client's needs. I've managed to solve most of his problems, but I'm stuck on one. The freight charge needs to be exported together with the rest of the order information, but it is exporting for every order item line of the order. I even tried combining the order items, but that didn't work as I expected (although seeing how it works makes perfect sense). Is there any way of preventing the freight cost from appearing more than once?

I've tried everything I can think of.

* VirtueMart version 1.1.9
* CSVI version version 3.8.3

Hello Christina,

Are you using the order_shipping field to get the freight cost? This should only export per order. Otherwise if you can post or email me an exported file that is incorrect, I can get a better understanding of what we are looking at.

Yes, I am using the order_shipping field. I thought I had attached a sample export to my last post, but must have forgotten to do so. I hope that this is a simple thing and that I have just overlooked setting something in the export.

You'll see that whenever there is an order containing more than one item, the freight charge is repeated for every item.

Hello Christina,

I have seen your export file and it actually looks like it is supposed to look. As the export contains all the items for an order, all other fields get exported as many times as you have ordered products also. If you look at the name, email and other fields just like the shipping cost they are repeated also. There is nothing you can do about that in this setup. It is not possible to say I want shipping cost on line 1 but not on line 2 and 3 for example. It is either all or nothing.

Thank you very much for clarifying that. It does make sense. I'll explain to my client that he will just have to manually remove the extra freight items.
