Looking for a useful answer?

Read this first and make sure you checked all steps: www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/635-troubleshooting-import-errors

Don't just say it doesn't work but describe in detail what is happening and add the following information:
* VirtueMart version
* CSVI version (Latest is not a version number)
* Sample of the file being imported
* Collected debug information

Without this information you won't get a useful answer. If no debug log is attached, you will get a request to post it.

Where to get the debug information?

A tutorial (www.csvimproved.com/frequently-asked-questions/390-how-to-collect-debug-information) has been written to help you collect your debug information. For CSVI 3, there is a video available (www.csvimproved.com/downloads/file/18-collect-debug-information)

Hello again. I am trying to import product_quantity_start and product_quantity_end in conjunction with product_price but I can't seem to figure out how I have to separate the values. I have a product with four prices: 100, 90, 78 and 74 for 1-2, 3-11, 12-35 and 36 and on items respectively. How would that have to be stated on my csv file? How do I have to separate the values? Virtuemart version 1.1.8, CSVI version 1.9. I'm not including the csv file or debug info as I have no clue as where to start. I have searched for the answer on the site but I can't seem to find it. Thank you for your time.

Have a look at the multiple prices tutorial.
Kind regards,

Hi again. I'm afraid I don't get it. I saw the tutorial but as the example is given with only one price, I can't see how I can place more....how I can separate them. I'm attaching the file so that my problem becomes clearer. Thank you.

Hello,
I saw the tutorial but as the example is given with only one price,
How do you mean only 1 price? Look at the bottom, there is an example CSV with 9 prices for 3 different products. There are the products Wb1, Wb2 and Wb3. I really don't know how to make it any clearer.
Kind regards,

RolandD

Got it Rolandd. I hadn't understood the example in the first place but besides that, I missed the fact that I had to change the type of file to multiple_prices_import and was trying to do it with the product_import type which was obviously overwriting the existing data. Thanks a million and sorry for being so slow.
