product_tax - Tax rules

The tax rule to apply to the price

Usage

This field takes the value of the tax rate to apply to the price. If your tax rate is 21%, fill in 21.

There are 2 special cases:

1. Apply no rule
   Value: -1
2. Apply default rules
   Value: 0

To use these, you need to use the field product_tax_id with the aforementioned value. By default CSVI sets the value to 0.

price_with_tax - Final price

When you import the price_with_tax, CSVI needs to calculate the price excluding tax and store that because VirtueMart doesn't store the final price. The final price is only a calculated total based on cost price and applied pricing rules. As CSVI needs to determine the price excluding tax, the product_tax value is required to be imported with the price_with_tax field.

product_discount - Discount rules

The discount to apply to the price

Usage

• Mixed

This field takes the value of the discount to apply to the price. For a percentage discount, if the value is 10%, fill in 10% otherwise for a fixed value fill in 10.

There are 2 special cases:

1. Apply no rule
   Value: -1
2. Apply generic rules
   Value: 0

To use these, you need to use the field product_discount_id with the aforementioned value. By default CSVI sets the value to 0.
