Hi

i am using
Joomla! 2.5.4
CSVi Pro 4.3.3

I have a import file with this structure
~product_sku~;~product_name~;~manufacturer_name~;~product_price~;~published~;~product_in_stock~;~category_id~;~product_desc~;~product_s_desc~

whene i import this file the products are wel inserted with SKU, price, manufacture name, product name and are published, but productinstock, short desc and desc are empty.
How this can happen and what is wrong ?
I have attached the file.

I use VM 2.0.6, CSVI 4.2 free.
I import XML file with XML map

product_sku
product_name
manufacturer_id

Use headers Yes
Skip No
Overwrite Yes
Ignore No
Skip No
Collect Yes
Refresh from XML nodes NO

I use 'Unpublish products before import' function and field 'published'=Y, but my products are not republished on home page

Hello,

Im trying to export products from my website. I have read the tutorial and it says that the parent products must come before the child products in the file.
In my export they come after. How do I correct this?

I am using joomla 1.5.25, VM 1.1.9 and CSVI 1.9

Hello

I have a vm 1.1 site with all of my products in. I want to copy over the products to a new site. I have done a product export and imported these into my new site but this doesnt seem to be working. I can see the products in the backend but I get errors on the front end.

I have attached an example of the file I am using.

I use the field file_url in my csv file (/bella-01.jpg), i set up right the path by import. on category view is everithing all right, but it isn't a photo on the product page.

I'm testing csvi 4.3.3 with joomla 2.5.4 and vm 2.0.6 and have a problem with empty category,in csvi 3.x there was an option, in maintenence menu, to remove empty category, how could I do this in csvi 4.

This question isnt really related to the operation of CSVI, but was more of a general question about the google base export and what is expected.

I'm writing this going off hearsay, so let me know if its garbage!

My site is J1.5, using VM 1.1.9 on a dedicated linux server.

I use SH404SEF which rewrites URL's page titles, etc and on a whole does a very good job.

I dont have the setting in SH404 to make all urls lowercase & this is where the hearsay comes in.

Ive been told that beacuase I have SEF urls with capital letters such as www.mysite.com/Store/My-Product On a Linux server it will be returning one 404 page to google for one version - diluting your link juice in half if not properly measured.

I have also been told that this will have a bad effect when trying to import into google base/merchant center.

Does anyone know anything more on this?
Should urls be all lower case if using a Linux server?
Should all URL's be lowercase when using google merchant center?

I have a tag in XML feed from supplier. I put the string in XML Record Nodes
product_s_desc
but this data doensn't show up on the page.
When i change tag name, for example to , it works, but not exactly .
I can't change feed, because it should be updated every day.
How to use this tag?

I would like to ask you if CSVI4 makes imports of csv or xlsx files to content per user in Joomla 1.7?
I have 650 user with unique access level for each one and I want to import contect from excel per user.

Please give me an answer as soon as you can.

I am interested of your product for VM and I will try it too.

Hi

I have just installed Virtuemart 2.0 and CSVI 4.
When I import my product csv file,I have 2 problems.
1. Categories are empty.
2. Fields product_thumb_image and product_full_image are not supported.
Here is the log output
Unsupported Failure These fields have been found but are not supported by CSVI:
product_thumb_image
product_full_image

Please help.

Hello, i want to make a store for 3500 products using joomla and virtuemart.

Is it possible for me to upload all the 3500 product secifications, (each product will have 6 specifications and an image) using CSV4, directly on the database instead of uploading then one by one on the joomla or virtuemat adminitration panel? Because if not that job alone will take looooooong time.

Is this the tool for the job?? Thanks in advanced!!

i use VM 1.1.9 and recently added new field "product_cost" in jos_vm_product_price table.

Can i import values to this field based on product_sku? i can see this new field in CSVI 1.9 backend - available fields.
