CSVI SOBI is a standard Joomla component and can be installed using the Joomla installer.

Since CSVI SOBI is protected by Ioncube the server must have an Ioncube loader installed. On most servers this is already installed or can be enabled via the control panel. After purchasing CSVI SOBI, a license file will be mailed to you. This file needs to be placed in the root of your webserver. After that, CSVI SOBI can be installed according to one of the 2 procedures below, depending on the installed Joomla version. A license is only valid for one domain, to use CSVI SOBI on multiple domains, multiple licenses need to be purchased.

To install the component take these steps:

1. Store the site-specific CSVI SOBI license file in the root directory of your web server. (The license only works for the CSVI SOBI-purchased domain name.)
2. Log in to the administrator back-end of Joomla
3. Click on Installers → Components
4. Browse to your local file
5. Click on “Upload File & Install”

The installation is now complete and CSVI SOBI can be found under Components → CSVI SOBI.

To install the component take these steps:

1. Store the site-specific CSVI SOBI license file in the root directory of your web server. (The license only works for the CSVI SOBI-purchased domain name.)
2. Log in to the administrator back-end of Joomla
3. Click on Extensions → Install/Uninstall
4. Browse to your local file
5. Click on “Upload File & Install”

The installation is now complete and CSV SOBI can be found under Components → CSVI SOBI.

For CSVI SOBI to work on Joomla 1.5, the Legacy plugin must be enabled. Check if it is enabled:

1. Log in to the administrator back-end of Joomla
2. Click on Extensions → Plugin Manager
3. Look for the System - Legacy plugin
4. Check if there is a green checkmark under Enabled
5. In case there is a cross, click it to enable the plugin
