VmCategoryBot is a plugin for Joomla that gives the user full control over how VirtueMart categories are displayed. By creating content items and using the tag {categorypage id=“5”} one or more categories can be shown on the page. This allows for both creating theme pages as well as incorporating direct links to one or more VirtueMart categories in the site articles.

The layout of the output is fully customizable because of the use of a template.

All category information is retrieved from your VirtueMart installation including the category image. The plugin can be used with VirtueMart 1.0 and VirtueMart 1.1.
